KHAROLA RETURNS TO AIR INDIA AS EXECUTIVE ADVISOR

June 22, 2026 – Former Civil Aviation Secretary Pradeep Singh Kharola has joined Tata Sons and Air India Chairman N. Chandrasekaran as an Executive Advisor and as a full-time member of the airline’s management committee, according to an internal communication.

His appointment comes at a time when Air India is searching for a new Chief Executive after MD Campbell Wilson announced his departure in the coming months. The airline is also facing operational and financial challenges.

Kharola had previously served as CMD of Air India from 2017 to 2019 and was later Civil Aviation Secretary, where he was involved in the airline’s privatisation process.

 

INDIGO ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF WILLIAM WALSH AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

March 31, 2026 – The Board of InterGlobe Aviation Limited (IndiGo) appointed William Walsh as the Chief Executive Officer, subject to regulatory approvals. Walsh’s tenure at IATA comes to a close on the July 31, 2026, and he is expected to join no later than on the August 3, 2026.

William Walsh (popularly known as Willie) is currently the Director General of IATA (International Air Transport Association) and was formerly CEO of British Airways and IAG (International Airlines Group, a holding company which owns Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Level and Vueling).

 

HONEYWELL AEROSPACE APPOINTS COUNTRY LEAD FOR INDIA

July 15, 2026 – Honeywell Aerospace announced the appointment of Vijay Yaram as the company’s new Country Leader for India, effective immediately.

In the newly created role, Vijay will serve as Honeywell Aerospace’s external enterprise leader in India, driving indigenous and decoupled growth, strengthening local partnerships and advancing Honeywell Aerospace’s India growth strategy.
