International Aerospace Women's Association (IAWA), organised the first India Forum in India in Bengaluru at GE Aerospace's John F Welch Technology Centre. Over 70 speakers and participants got together to discuss policy infrastructure, skill development and local manufacturing capabilities that can propel India forward and help meet its aspiration to be a global aviation and aerospace hub. Founded in 1988, IAWA brings together women of achievement and promotes their advancement throughout the world.

The first-ever India Forum for the International Aerospace Women's Association (IAWA) was successfully hosted in partnership with GE Aerospace, BTG Advaya, and Embraer at the John F. Welch Technology Centre. The event brought together industry leaders for insightful discussions on aerospace innovation, the need for a skilled workforce, and India's vision to become a global aviation hub.

With India's aviation sector poised for exponential growth, the forum emphasized collaboration, talent development, and technological advancements to drive the industry forward.
