Duncan Aviation is pleased to announce that Corey Clark has been named the new Paint Manager at the company's full-service facility in Provo, Utah. Clark began his career at Duncan Aviation's Lincoln, Nebraska, headquarters in 2010 as a Paint Tech II. From the beginning, Clark stood out for his strong work ethic and team-first mentality. Over the past 14 years, he has demonstrated exceptional growth and dedication, always taking on higher responsibilities and stepping up as a leader in every role he has held.
After being promoted to Crew Lead, Clark made a significant impact when he relocated to Provo, Utah, in 2018 to help open the facility's brand-new paint hangar. His leadership during the early days of the shop's development was crucial; he worked closely with a new team while helping to build the paint department's foundation. Clark initially served as a Paint Team Lead, later transitioning to Detail Team Lead, where he helped elevate the standard of excellence across both areas. Most recently, Clark served as Assistant Manager of the Paint Shop, where his cheerful spirit and problem-solving skills continued to drive the success of the team.
"Corey has been in Provo since our Paint Shop there first opened. He arrived with a wealth of knowledge he picked up during his career painting aircraft at our Lincoln facility. Corey has been an established leader ever since, understanding the importance of a high-quality product that delivers on time while exceeding expectations. I am excited to have him leading our team and our facility in to the future," said Phil Suglia, Vice President of Modifications and Completions in Provo.
Clark has demonstrated steady leadership and earned the trust and respect of both his team members and customers. His deep understanding of aircraft paint operations, along with his commitment to building a strong team culture, makes him a perfect fit to lead the Provo Paint Department into the future.
"When we have a strong team that feels supported and valued, we're able to deliver better results, build stronger relationships with our customers, and ensure the quality of our work. I've been part of the Provo Paint Shop from the very beginning, and I've always felt the drive to not just meet expectations but to exceed them. As we move forward, my goal is to make sure everyone here feels that same sense of pride and unity in what we do—always focused on taking care of our customers and doing the job right, every time," said Clark.
When Clark is not working, he is spending quality time in the outdoors with his wife, Brittni, and their two children. He coaches his daughter's competitive softball team and can be found cheering on his 4-year-old son during hockey. In the winter time, Clark takes full advantage of Utah's beautiful landscape by hitting the slopes and enjoying time in the mountains with his family.
