Airstar Aerospace and Altave Sign Industrial Partnership at the Paris Air Show

Airstar Aerospace – a French designer, manufacturer and leader in the aerostats market - and Altave – a major Brazilian developer and manufacturer of tethered balloons dedicated to surveillance and telecommunications – officialised on Wednesday 21st of June their industrial partnership which will enable both companies to become a key player in the tethered balloons market.

Leonardo Mendes Nogueira, Altave's marketing and sales director, expressly came from Sao José dos Campos to initial the agreement with Romain Chabert, managing director of Airstar Aerospace, in the presence of Brazilian officials from the Ministry of Defense and French authorities of the Interior Ministry.

With this signature, Altave adds its ISR aerostats to Airstar Aerospace's portfolio, while Airstar Aerospace becomes Europe's exclusive distributor for the Brazilian company's tethered balloon 'White Hawk', an elliptic shape balloon for low and medium altitudes in accordance with European aerial regulations.

Easy to deploy, with an automated take-off and landing system, this balloon will widely seduce UAV operators and payload providers.

Covering two continents, this exchange was initialed in a warm atmosphere; Romain Chabert is delighted about Altave's new capacity to export their cutting-edge technologies, praising the company's knowledge of the Latin American market, Altave benefits from the know-how and European market experience brought by the Grenoble based French company.
